Giving access to medical care has always been a priority for HisKids. Lisa Horner is an RN and has a passion to bring healing to our kids in Haiti and in S. Sudan. Joe Horner acquired training as a medical assistant before living in Uganda as missionaries, which was very helpful in dealing with death and disease including a tribal clash that occurred in 2003. In Uganda, we built a children’s medical center providing healing to the community. In Haiti we will be coordinating health care for our widows and orphans until we can establish a health center in each areas where His Kids is operating. This will be in cooperation with our feeding center helping those most in need. His Kids also provides training to moms in basic nutrition and other helpful health related issues.
